Recently I posted the cover art from my new fantasy novel, Strange Places, and I've had some PMs asking where people can get a copy. In case others are interested, you can get the print version (signed by me) from my publisher's web site http://indieinkpublishing.com or you can get it in ebook form at Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Strange-Places-Finding-Tayna-ebook/dp/B005CK4J7I/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1310755717&sr=1-2, with the other ebook stores coming soon. Wow! Time sure passes quickly when you're busy. As I said in the title, yes, we have a winner. I was overwhelmed by the response, and the judging was really tough. In the end, I had to go with the artist who did two things really, really well: 1) delivered on what I asked for, in terms of style and approach, and then 2) pushed my expectations in new directions and got me excited about what we might be able to come up with when we actually start collaborating. So I am absolutely tickled to a brilliant shade of fuschia to announce that I'll be working with thehobbitknight for the illustrations of my book. I want to send a big woo-hoo to thehob

Hey! Potential Collaborators! I just landed a publishing deal and now I'm looking for an illustrator. The project is one I've had in the works for over a decade, so I am absolutely pumped, but I need help. Maybe YOUR help. The idea is a fantasy series for toddlers, presented in the form of a series of richly illustrated picture-books. It's as entertaining for adults as it is for children, and is designed to be read aloud. The manuscript for Book 1 is complete, and has been approved by the publisher. Now we are looking for an artist to work with for the rich illustration part. The project will require between 15 and 30 images, depending on

Yes, I have seen your whole series, and thank you for all of them. I'm in the process of developing an animated film and even though the script does not directly reference a particular milieu, I'm thinking steampunk might be the right visual style for the material. Finding high-quality examples like yours is helping me to develop my vision a little further.
glad to be of assistance! :D
